The greatly anticipated high-speed rail corridor from St. Louis to Chicago is on track and
moving one step closer. Rail line improvements are being completed in Springfield (northward) to Mazonia
line, according to John Schwalbach, bureau of railroads chief with the Illinois Department of Transportation.
